I'm Waleed Khan, and over the past four years, I've developed a diverse skill set in writing, editing, and strategizing content that engages and informs. My journey began with a Bachelor's in English Literature and Linguistics from the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad, where I not only learned about the beauty of language but also honed my critical thinking skills.
Shortly after, I stepped into the role of a Freelance Editor with One Freelance Limited. It was here that I polished my skills by editing a variety of texts and completed professional courses that deepened my editing abilities. My commitment to quality and collaborative nature allowed me to build long-lasting professional relationships.
Expanding my horizons, I worked as a Freelance Writer for Livingston Research, where I tackled topics ranging from business to social sciences. This role sharpened my adaptability, enabling me to write authoritative content on a wide array of subjects and reach the rank of A Category writers.
I've also had the unique opportunity to ghost edit a non-fiction book, "Music, Silence and Noise," focused on educational reform in Pakistan, which honed my sensitivity to content structure and narrative flow.
Most recently, I contributed as a remote content writer for House of Elaan, a leading real estate company in Pakistan. Crafting social media captions, slogans, and YouTube scripts, I tailored content to capture the essence of the brand and connect with a diverse audience.
I pride myself on being highly adaptable to various writing styles, keenly aware of grammatical nuances, and familiar with different referencing techniques such as APA and MLA as well as being highly detail-oriented.
