Gullmakai Tareen

Gullmakai Tareen is born in a tribal village of District Dukki Balochistan, Pakistan and has done her bachelor’s in Fine Arts painting Major from The University of Information Technology Engineering and Management Sciences Quetta. She worked on the idea of ruins left behind in time in her bachelors and used old furniture from her family History and repainted it with portraits. Currently she is perusing her Masters degree  from the National College of Arts Lahore Pakistan and is working on the Journey of Healing with various materials that does justice to the idea and makes sense of the mundane symbols that are used in famous writings of all times. She works with pictures and words to create stories and preserve human emotions through words and art.
