Hector Rodriguez Chavez

A highly motivated and experienced professional with a background in Sociology, International Relations, Government and Innovation. I have a strong passion for innovation, policy design, and public affairs. Throughout my career, I have held various leadership positions, including Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, CEO of a Technopark called Yachay City of Knowledge; since 2017 I act like founding CEO of iGO Innovación y Gobierno, a consultant firm, where I have been actively involved in designing and evaluating public policies for local governments and companies.

My educational journey includes a degree in Sociology with a focus on International Relations from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and a Master's in Government and Public Affairs from FLACSO Mexico; other Masters in Innovación & Entrepreneurship from Universidad de Barcelona. I also completed academic programs in technology management and leadership in innovation from prestigious institutions such as Innopolis Foundation – KAIST in Korea and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US.
