Mairaj Fatimah

I did my graduation from the St Joseph's College, Karachi, Pakistan. During my gap years and after graduation, I remained affiliated with different schools. However, being passionate about joining the print media, I grabbed the first opportunity announced in a newspaper as a trainee journalist. My career started from the Business Recorder (Daily), and then I moved on to the News International, from where I finally landed at the Dawn (Daily). I remained associated with it for 24 long years and got retired in 2019. Then I joined an IELTS institute as an instructor. Soon afte, COVID emerged and the entire country went into lockdown. Eventually, I joined the back office of a US-based company, the Break Time Corner Market (BTCM). Now I want to continue my passion of writing by joining your esteemed organisation.
