Tracy Hutchings

 Tracy J Hutchings is an ideator, content creator, voice/character actor and an Addy Award winning copywriter with over twenty-one years industry experience. He has written and often times produced and voiced various commercials. Over the years, Tracy has brought his skills to brands ranging from The Ministry of Tourism (Trinidad & Tobago), Angostura Limited, Nestlé and Unilever, to TSTT, First Citizens, FirstCaribbean, G-TECH & UNILEVER and National Petroleum among others. He was also part of the team that won Gold at the WorldMediaFestival Awards held in Hamburg, Germany in 2009. 

From 2013 to early 2015, Tracy provided creative solutions under his brand, Eye Soar Productions. He returned to full advertising in mid-2015, joining Publicis Caribbean as a Senior Writer and then Senseo Caribbean as a Digital and Social Media Content Creator.

Tracy was a contributing writer for the online magazine, Draconian Switch and has edited and co-produced several art related documentary pieces for Artzpub Films. Tracy was also a Freelance Producer for the CNC3 Series, “No Laughing Matter” starring Akash Samaroo. 

Tracy received his certificate in Television and Film Production at the Institute for Broadcasting Careers (IBC) and is presently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Film. His 2020 documentary / notumentary, The Covid Chronicles was an OFFICIAL SELECTION in the 2020 Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival. He was also the Host of the Festival’s “Limin’ Live” show; a 20 minute IGTV talk with filmmakers across the region. 

Tracy also created a small, online news outlet called “We Are Tracy”, specializing in collating and curating geek and pop culture news as well as original film reviews. He is currently co-writing for a new animated tv project, HOWZATT [which marries the love of cricket, anime and science fiction] with creator, Rene Holder, while plotting what’s next for him.
