Hello!

My name is Polina. Based on my professional experience alone, it is difficult to say what draws me to writing, editing and creating; however, my life experience has given me quite a wealth of knowledge.

I actively write prose and poetry myself, and I also translate texts, mainly from English; during my school years, I took part in various creative competitions, and I also wrote a successful research paper on the characteristics of postcolonialism in the works of Slava Se. 

The most notable competitions I have taken part in were the 'Sirdsvārdi Latvijai' poetry competitions, where I won the main prize once and received a commendation once.

Right away I am studying web design and tattoo art.
