For Christmas 2021, I sent a gourmet hamper of
Eataly, very expensive, to my neighbors, to thank them
of their affection. Too bad Eataly forgot to
write the sender and my neighbors, blinded by suspicions and the
jealousy, after a few weeks they broke up.
That's how "Bunker" was born, one of the stories I wrote. And this is how many others were born
subjects. What made the difference was the School
of Screenwriting "Leo Benvenuti" that I attended a
year ago, where I learned to listen to the stories that the world
gave me gifts, but above all to build them rationally,
method and structure, fundamental elements to succeed
free oneself from apparently dead-end streets.
For the last 18 years I have worked with agencies
communication, dealing with internal communication and
advertising; I worked as a director for productions
television, mainly in the advertising sector; I have
collaborated with film productions, working in
several sets, as assistant director and director of Unit II; I have
worked as an Audiovisual Coach, dealing with
planning, design and delivery of courses.
Writing was the element that was missing from my profession
and it is an aspect that fascinates and stimulates me like few others
other things. When a story doesn't turn out well, there is no night
that it cannot be sacrificed on the altar of insomnia, and
if it is shared with other like-minded minds, it is even better.
I like pitching: I love looking for communication strategies
winning, creative narrative formulas and I feed on adrenaline
preceding a pitch session.
