I have always worked with words and language in some form or other, as a writer, editor, language teacher, and translator.

I am committed to bringing the skills, experience and thought processes I have developed as a copy editor, writer, researcher, translator, linguist and language instructor to a technical, content, product or UX writing context.

These include problem-solving, empathy and cultural awareness from my years living outside my culture of origin. I have extensive practice in seeing the merits of others' viewpoints and negotiating solutions.

I am very accustomed to remote and offsite work.
