Stefano Cantoni

Stefano Luigi Cantoni was born in Vimercate, Brianza, in 1984. After studying at the “Zucchi” classical high school in Monza, the city where he lives and writes, he attended the faculty of modern literature at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan and, in conjunction with the love for greenery that has always animated him, he began a professional activity in the world of gardening, until he decided to dedicate himself body and soul to his great passions: literature and, above all, writing. In 2015, the first publication of some of his poems took place by the Pagine publishing house, for the Poeti e Poesie series directed by Elio Pecora.                                           His debut in fiction took place in 2021, with the publication of the thriller Chiaro di Luna, published by Pav Edizioni. In 2022, thanks to the story The queen of the garden, he was included in the anthology "Fontevivo tra le riga", also published by Pav editions. The Adventures of Mr. S is his first collection of unpublished short stories. His third book, the thriller The dark face of beauty, published by Incipit23 of Milan, will be released in December 2024. Editor of the cultural blog Il Barnabò, for which he takes care of the literature section. An undaunted reader and classicist, he is the founder of the Literary Aperitif which he hosts both on social media and in person, as well as moderating book presentations and shared readings. His motto is: “literature must become life.”
