Mateusz Hyla

I have been working in game development since the beginning of 2017, though I have been interested in amateur game creation since 2014. I primarily fulfill the role of Executive Producer, but I’ve had the pleasure of working briefly as a programmer, designer, and tester, participating in over 30 titles.

I was associated with Jujubee. From 2021-2022, I was the CEO of Strategy Forge until the merger of both companies. I’ve also worked with SUPERHOT and Dreamgrit, ran a software house called “Dom Biznesu,” and conducted numerous expert analyses on game production for investment funds. I’ve worked as an R&D manager and project manager on two R&D projects funded by European Funds through the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR). I also managed three projects funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (MKiDN) and one funded by the Centre for the Development of Creative Industries (CRPK). I am a member of the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence (GRAI) at the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Management at the University of Silesia, earning the distinction of Best Graduate of the 2013/2014 Academic Year. I then completed my Master's in Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia. I am currently studying MBA IT. I have attended numerous management courses, including at Digital Dragons Incubator, the Academy of Entrepreneurship at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP).

Game development continues to be my passion, so I constantly strive to expand my knowledge by participating both passively and actively in various scientific and industry conferences, undertaking additional projects and scholarships, and attending training sessions. Sharing knowledge is also important to me, which is why I often mentor at game jams, deliver guest lectures at universities and schools, and give presentations and panels.
