Ahmed Haibu Lawan is a Nigerian writer and poet from Maiduguri, Borno State. A graduate of Biochemistry from the University of Maiduguri, he writes across genres, blending lyrical imagery with social commentary rooted in African experience. His work often explores memory, identity, and resilience.
He has been published in Brittle Paper, Africa’s premier online literary platform, and continues to develop a body of poetry and prose aimed at both Nigerian and global audiences. Outside of writing, Ahmed is passionate about education and cultural preservation, drawing inspiration from his Shuwa Arab heritage and Islamic background.
